Strawberry Film Festival
Sunday, May 26 at the Film Hub in Vista.
Join your friends from San Diego Media Pros at the Strawberry Film Festival at the Film Hub. We are proud to be a sponsor of this annual event, which is part of the Vista Strawberry Festival.
SD Media Pro will be providing an interactive media experience to give folks the chance to see and feel what it is like to be a part of TV news.
What is the Strawberry Film Festival?
The Strawberry Film Festival is the perfect family-friendly film festival opportunity to celebrate the best of filmmakers of all ages in Vista, including media experiences like stunt demonstrations and green screen interactions.
Hosted by The Film Hub in conjunction with The Vista Chambers of Commons' Strawberry Festival, this event is meant to inspire the next generation of creatives.
When is the Film Festival?
The official selections will be screened at The Film Hub (170 Eucalyptus Ave. Vista, CA 92084) on the day of the Strawberry Festival: Sunday, May 26th, 2024. Be sure to invite friends and family to the screenings of the selected films so they can vote for their favorite for the audience choice award. The winner will be announced at the festival closing. We look forward to seeing what you create!

Prizes:
The Film Hub will award a $500 gift card toward using their professional film stages for the Narrative and Documentary categories. A cash Prize of $250 will go to the audience choice award.

Editing Faster Using Excalibur with Kes Akalaon

In case you missed the San Diego Premier Pro Users Group meeting on Saturday, May 4, with a deep dive into how their Excalibur plugin can really help you work faster, here is a link to the recording.
For those that don’t know, Excalibur is a third party extension for Premiere Pro that allows users the ability to unlock extra capabilities, combine keyboard shortcuts into macros and increase the overall editing speed as well as organization at which Premiere Pro users work.
